Alpha 6 package was designed to optimize your Nissan GT-R by unleashing the
power that the factory held back. By addressing the major areas of restriction
in your exhaust, intake and factory computer, we can increase the stock 485HP
rating to 600HP, and we have the 10 second time slips to back it up!
Tame Street Manners Coupled With Big Power
The
Alpha 6 GT-R could pass for a stock vehicle under cruising conditions because
of the proper re-calibration of the ECU. When you lay on the throttle the
differences become very clear as the speedometer needle wraps around in a
hurry! We have
seen a best drag time of 10.6 @ 130 mph on 93 octane pump gas with this
race-proven package.
A Simple Package That Packs A Big Punch
At the
heart of the AMS Alpha 6 package is our tried-and-true tuning map. Through
rigorous testing, we have developed a file for your car�s computer that
extracts the most safe and reliable horsepower possible.
In
addition to the computer recalibration, we utilize HKS air filters to allow the
turbos to breathe easier - allowing maximum efficiency of the factory intake
system. Finally, we include an HKS Legamax Exhaust System which adds
even more horsepower and a very throaty tone conveying the appropriate bark to
your GT-R�s bite!
Big Power Gains And A Wider Power Band� How Can You Beat That?
The key
to the success of the Alpha 6 is freeing up exhaust flow with a properly tuned
downpipe design, improving the cam timing characteristics and increasing turbo
output. In doing so we are able to make impressive power gains of 120HP and
increase response with quicker turbo spool yielding a wider power band than
stock!
Easy To Upgrade In The Future
A nice
feature of the Alpha 6 is if you decide to upgrade to an Alpha 9 or higher
there is no need to buy the same components twice. The components of the Alpha
6 act as the solid foundation for future modifications.
